Gaskell's Ball Anyone? (Bay Area, CA)

So I'm determined to pull a ballgown out of thin fabric between tomorrow morning and Saturday Night. Is anyone willing to go with me to the ball, for good company and to lace me into my new corset? I'm happy to drive, as long as I'm not doing so while wearing the aforementioned garment.
