Sparklies!!!
Today is packing day. AKA run around like a beheaded chicken day. I'm getting pretty excited to be going back to Tucson and perusing the enormous collections of sparklies. Another cool thing is that I have two commissions for which I'm looking for specific stones. I won't be out of touch, however, becuase I'm bringing my laptop. The place I'm staying has free wireless internet.
Last Saturday I went to a local event and didn't set up the booth. Orange County parks for the most part don't allow vendors. It was nice to go to an event and socialize rather than work. Of course I still got nagged by three different people about a scroll text I haven't finished. Yes, it's been a long time and I need to get it done. Right now, though, every minute out of the studio is time I feel I need to be in the studio making stuff so I can make my rapidly increasing credit payments. Overall, though, I got to catch up with some people I haven't talked with in a long time, so I count it a fun day. I still felt I should be in the studio, though.
