Backyard archaeology
So there I am in my dorky bucket hat and leather gloves, pulling weeds out of the large patch of sunlight in the yard where I want to plant tomatoes, when what do I find under the weeds and under at least an inch of soil? The remains of the former sliding screen door. Completely buried. Weeds had grown up through the screening, which was mostly rotted away. Amazing.
I'm wussing out on Beltane this weekend - I need to do some casting, and don't want to wrestle a wet canvas pavilion. I still haven't bought that cot.
A current issue is that I need caffeine and NSAIDs to function, but in combination they make my stomach hurt.

backyard archeology
I found a sidewalk about 10 feet long under my former arbor. It was buried under leaves, soil, detrius of all sorts, including a troll doll, a tennis ball, a long metal rod, and a ton of ivy!
