Oh yes, offices are terrible that way. Some of them even expect you to use the hot water valve on the coffee maker. No, I'll nuke it to really boiling.
My problem is different - I'm working out of the house, and I make tea by the pot. It's just that whenever I'm involved in something and I go to take another drink, the cup seems always to be empty.
I can't answer on the tea - I think it falls into that section of The Book that explains about 10-hot-dogs-12-buns and where socks go - but that is a HELLA cute picture of you!! Greatly enjoying that part! :-D
