Lords and Ladies of the West Kingdom, I am delighted to introduce you to a lovely family who has relocated here from Caid.

Lasairfhoina ni Chon Chonnacht, OL ([profile] red_goldilocks ) and Wulfric Thjostolfson OP ([profile] viking_monkey ). They served as Baron and Baroness of Gyldenholt (Orange County) for five years (I think).

[That's La-sa-REE-na for us less-Gaelicly inclined]

Danger, This is another red-headed cooking laurel who sews, knits, and is generally crafty and awesome. She was apprenticed to Joeguppy before being elevated. I especially want all my foodie friends to meet her, as I know you will all hit it off and make her feel welcome. This is her Caidan Laurel Page: http://laurels.sca-caid.org/Lasairfhiona.htm

Baron Wulfric (yes, the Caidan Wulfric has moved up here nearby the Western Wulfric, but we will find a way to cope. :-)) He fights as well, so I'm hoping to induce them to come to a FP at Brion and Ysa's. This is his Caidan Pelican Page: http://pelicans.sca-caid.org/pel_wulfric.htm

They have two lovely and active daughters in that preteen stage where they don't slow down long enough for me to guess at or remember their ages. Dana and Katie are very sweet girls who last I knew, were actively involved in the SCA. Lasairfhoina's eldest daughter has just finished her freshman year at UC Santa Cruz. The family is in Vacaville, and Wulfric is actively job-searching. I hope I can induce him to post, which he does rarely, and tell us what he's looking for.

I extend them a warm welcome, and I do hope my Western friends will introduce themselves either here or in a message to get them acquainted with you all, that they not feel isolated living in an unfamiliar kingdom. We are totally the winners in having these folks in the West!

HAHAHAHAHA...no, they are the temporary tattoo work of one fabulous Sir Richard of Aldertree, who is ever ready at our events with his sharpie and calligraphic skillz. The hell no was my answer to volunteering related questions for the forseeable future, since I just stepped down not too long ago ;)

RAT!

The infamous R.A.T. lives on? Cool. btw - nice ink.

- Husam, who might be remembered as Yoshio by the aforementioned sharpie-wielder, but I'm taking no bets on anyone's memory of excess drinking under the BC 20 years ago or more.

(And BTW - Be nice to these folks. If y'all're not, we'll take them back and you lose your deposit!)
