Gah!

 I got my windshield replaced today with the money from selling that ring. Just when I feel like I'm starting to catch up with life, however, my computer has decided that several important folders do not exist anymore. Like the entire Acanthusleaf Designs folder. I've got a call in to a repair place - I hope they can fix this tomorrow. All my email archive is gone too. I'm not going to panic yet. Really. 

Bloody laptop is five years old. Keyboard is dead, the fan is making weird noises, and now this. It's a clear sign, but I don't want to shell out for a new one. We'll see how much the repair costs.

I feel your pain, my laptop is so infected with a virus I cannot use it, then
the desktop died while I was trying to download some of my music from
my iPod which made my iPod freeze up and is now unusable.
So I go to start up my car this morning and something in the engine is
making a rattle-y noise. So much electronic suckage :-/
